FUTUR-PRIMER X01

EPOXY PRIMER BINDER FOR 100% SOLID SYNTHETIC MORTARS

Combination of solvent-free epoxy resin with cycloaliphatic amine-based hardener. Indicated as an epoxy primer and binder for 100% solid synthetic mortars.

• Quick and easy application.
• 100% solids, free of solvents. No strange smells. Suitable for indoor applications.
• Penetrates deeply into the support, offering unbeatable anchorage for subsequent coatings.
• Good adhesion to concrete with high mechanical resistance, resistance to abrasion and chemical agents.
• Resistant to extreme temperatures (-20 ºC to +70 ºC).
• Resistant to UV rays and atmospheric agents.

Before applying the product, check that the support is clean and free of traces of oil, grease, silicone, contaminating waxes or soil materials. If repair is needed, apply appropriate repair mortars.
Apply at room temperature between +10 ºC and 40 ºC. The temperature of the support must be between +10 ºC and 40 ºC. The support must be dry and with relative humidity < 85% (Maximum residual humidity of the support < 4%).
It is important to control the dew point to prevent condensation from occurring and avoid whitish areas on the coating.
It is necessary to start from a porous concrete support, without grout, free of curing liquids, free of dust, level with porosity and dry. Minimum compressive strength of concrete: 15 N/mm2. Minimum tensile strength of concrete: 1 N/mm2.
If in doubt, carry out a test before application.
Mix the two components in the recommended proportion of 62.5 parts by weight of component A for every 37.5 parts of component B.
Beat component A well in its container, then add component B and beat with an electric stirrer (300-400 rpm) for a minimum of 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous product is obtained. If overmixed, occluded air bubbles may appear. Once the two components are mixed, it is ready for use. Application open time
(Pot Life) is 20 minutes at 20ºC and 55% RH.
Apply with a brush, roller or metal or rubber extenders in thin layers with an approximate consumption of 200-500 g/m2 in two layers. The final consumption will depend on the porosity and roughness of the support.
As a binder for synthetic mortars (resin: aggregate ratio = 1:10), approx. 200 g/m2 and millimeter thickness.

Repainting will be done once the previous layers have dried, approximately 12-24 hours.
Touch dry 6-8 hours
Pedestrian traffic 24 hours
Light traffic 2 days
Total curing 7 days
Data at ambient temperature of +25 ºC and 55% relative humidity.

Mortars of 3-10mm thickness: Apply 1 part of FUTURPRIMER 001 for every 10 parts by weight of dry quartz sand (1/3 part of sand with a grain size of 0.09-0.2mm, 2/3 parts of quartz sand 0. .7-1.2mm Consumption 200 g/m2.
8-15mm thick mortars: Apply 1 part of FUTURPRIMER 001 for every 15 parts by weight of dry quartz sand (5% by weight of 5-30 µ quartz powder, 10% by weight of sand (0.09-0 .2 mm, 40% by weight of sand (0.7-1.2mm), 45% by weight of sand (2.0- 3.5mm).Consumption: 170 gr/m2.
The mortar must be manufactured in a planetary mixer. The aggregate must be added first in the smallest grain size and then FUTURPRIMER 001 once its two components have been mixed. The product must be protected from moisture, especially rain during the hardening process (10-12 hours). This moisture can produce a whitened color on the surface that is of no more importance than appearance.
optical, since the resin hardens without problems throughout the thickness of its film. It must be removed when subsequent layers are to be applied, as it would impair adhesion.
Maintenance and cleaning: To maintain the appearance of the floor after application, all spills must be removed immediately after they have occurred. The floor must be cleaned regularly using rotating brushes, high-pressure cleaners, vacuum cleaners, using neutral detergents and appropriate waxes.
Once the container is opened, we recommend its complete consumption. Once the two components have been mixed, the mixture obtained must be applied, respecting the pot-life.
Stable for 12 months from its manufacturing date, in its original, well-closed and undamaged container. Store in a dry and cool place at temperatures between +5ºC and +25ºC.
Application in closed areas must be carried out ensuring proper ventilation during application and 48 hours after.
Do not exceed the maximum consumption because it may affect its adhesion and durability.
Avoid the formation of puddles of the product.
In applications exposed to U.V. rays. yellowing may occur.
For applications with chemical resistance, consult the technical department.
Incorrect treatment of cracks and singular points can lead to a reduction in the useful life of the pavement.
To clean materials and utensils, use water before the product hardens. Once the product has hardened it can only be removed by mechanical means.

• Very useful in all types of construction companies, quick repair contracts, general masonry, community maintenance, repair and restoration of buildings, industrial flooring, etc.
Application as:
• Epoxy primer.
• Binder for the manufacture of synthetic mortars heavily loaded with quartz sand, for repair and for the execution of pavements with thicknesses greater than 3 mm, floated with a trowel or appropriate screw trowel.
• Filling and leveling of supports.
Supported media:
• Concrete, cement mortar.
• For other supports we recommend carrying out tests to verify their adhesion.
