FUTURFLOOR EPOX CV

TWO-COMPONENT SELF-LEVELING EPOXY PAVEMENT WITHOUT ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE SOLVENTS

Epoxy self-leveling flooring, two-component or three-component (with quartz), solvent-free, 100% solids indicated as a glossy, conductive finishing layer for interior flooring.

• Does not contain solvents.
• Good adhesion on almost any type of surface.
• Excellent resistance to abrasion and impacts.
• Excellent mechanical and chemical resistance.
• Excellent resistance to extreme temperatures (between –20ºC and + 80ºC).
• Completely waterproof. Resists permanent contact with water. Resistant to
hydrolysis and attack by microorganisms.
• Once cured it provides non-toxic pavements.

Before applying the product, check that the support is clean and free of traces of oil, grease, silicone, contaminating waxes or soil materials. If repair is needed, apply appropriate mortars.
Apply at room temperature between +10 ºC and 20 ºC. The temperature of the product should not exceed 25 ºC. The support must be dry and with relative humidity < 85%.

It is important to control the dew point to prevent condensation from occurring and avoid whitish areas on the coating. The product must be protected from moisture, especially rain during the hardening process (10-12 hours).
This humidity can produce a whitened color on the surface that has no more importance than the optical appearance, since the resin hardens without problems throughout the thickness of its film. It must be removed when subsequent layers are to be applied, as it would impair adhesion.

Support requirements:
Porous concrete, without grout and free of curing liquids.
Compressive strength: 15 N/mm2.
Tensile strength of concrete: 1 N/mm2.

Mix the two components in the recommended proportion: 70 parts of component A for every 30 parts of component B. Beat component A well in its container, then add component B and beat with a mechanical stirrer for a minimum of 2- 3 minutes until reaching a homogeneous product. If overmixed, occluded air bubbles may appear. Once the two components are mixed, it is ready for use. The open application time (Pot Life) is 30 minutes at 25 ºC.
The product is ready for use once the two components have been mixed.
It should not be diluted.
Apply with a roller (in thin laminates), spread with a smooth trowel (in intermediate regularization layers), with a notched trowel (as a self-leveling final coating) or mixed with selected quartz sand, applied with a notched trowel (as a self-leveling mortar).
Apply the product by pouring. Pour continuously to avoid the formation of air pockets.
Spread using a notched trowel or chosen tool and leave the desired thickness.
Deaerate with a spiked roller.
It is recommended to condition the product and environment at temperatures between 15-25ºC for good workability and good drying.
Performance depends on the thickness required. For every 1 mm of thickness, 1.3 Kg/m2 is required. For three-component applications (with quartz) the performance will be 1.6-1.7 Kg/m2.

Touch dry 8-12 hours
Pedestrian traffic 24 hours
Light traffic 3 days
Total curing 7 days

Times are approximate and depend on ambient temperature and humidity.
Appropriate ventilation must be ensured to eliminate excess moisture during curing, at least within 48 hours of application.

Applications:
Roller stratified system: Apply a primer of FUTURFLOOR EPOXI 001 with a consumption of 100-150 g/m2, depending on the substrate.
Apply a 1.5-2mm layer of FUTURFLOOR EPOXI CV with a notched trowel. thick, with a consumption of 2-2.6 Kg.
To facilitate the release of occluded air during the mixing of the resin, once the product has been spread, a spiked roller will be passed over it.
System with sand addition: Apply a primer of FUTURFLOOR EPOXI 001 with a consumption of 100-150 g/m2, depending on the support. Using a notched trowel, apply a layer of self-leveling mortar of approx. 2mm thick, composed of 1 part by weight of FUTURFLOOR EPOXI CV and 1 part by weight of dry quartz sand with a grain size of 0.2-0.4 mm with a consumption of approx. 1.6-1.7 Kg/m2. To promote the escape of occluded air during the mixing of the resin and the aggregate, once the self-leveling mortar has been spread.
using a spiked roller.

The final finish of the product is shiny smooth. Available colors: White, Grey, Red or Green. Other colors on request with RAL chart. To clean the tools, use FUTURSOLVENT 01. The fully hardened material can only be removed by mechanical means.

Maintenance and cleaning: To maintain the appearance of the floor after application, all spills must be removed immediately after they have occurred. The floor must be cleaned regularly using rotating brushes, high-pressure cleaners, vacuum cleaners, using neutral detergents and appropriate waxes.
Once the container is opened, we recommend its complete consumption. Once the two components have been mixed, the mixture obtained must be applied, respecting the pot-life.

Stable for 12 months from its manufacturing date, in its original, well-closed and undamaged container. Store in a dry and cool place at temperatures between +5ºC and +25ºC.
Do not apply to damp surfaces or surfaces with residual moisture, swimming pools, etc. For materials other than those recommended, carry out a preliminary test before applying the product.
In applications exposed to outdoor U.V. rays. Yellowing may occur, we recommend applying a paint suitable for these applications. The temperature of the product should not exceed 25ºC because the reaction is accelerated and the useful time of the mixture is shortened. The optimal working temperature is between 10-20 ºC. At lower temperatures leveling problems: At higher temperatures
problems in the overlap of different batches.
For chemical applications, consult technical service resistance.
Incorrect treatment of cracks and singular points can lead to a reduction in the useful life of the pavement.
To clean materials and utensils, use FUTURSOLVENT 01 before the product hardens. Once the product has hardened it can only be removed by mechanical means.

• Very useful in all types of construction companies, quick repair contracts, general masonry, community maintenance, building repair and restoration, high-resistance epoxy industrial flooring, etc.
Of application in:
• Treatment, decoration and protection of pavements, floors and rehabilitation of: Industrial Floors, Floors of production plants and handling of flammable liquids, explosives, graphic arts, high voltage and nuclear.
