INTUMESCENT TAPE FOR SEALING
Expanding tape for fire protection. Its flexibility allows it to seal pipes of any diameter on site. In addition, it is the sealing system that provides the greatest protection for plastic pipes with the smallest space.

UV, humidity, etc. It can be installed outdoors (Class X).
PROMASTOP-W has been tested to combine with mineral wool type seals
+ coating or mortar type. It can also be installed directly on the wall.
It can be used with the most common plastic pipes: PVC, PE, PP and PP-R and
multilayer.
Facility:
• Determine the number of turns to be made according to the diameter of the pipe (See Technical Solution 14.10)
• Wind the band onto the pipe, with the active material facing the pipe. Paste the end with self-adhesive paper.
• Insert a bead of PROMASEAL-AG, or PROMASEAL-A, into the space between tube and support.
• Slide the band along the tube until it fits into the gap. It can stay up to
5 mm maximum band outside the gap.
• The band should not be covered with mortar or other insulating material.
Supplied in boxes containing an 18m roll of tape.
